||Charles M. Sheaff, MD, PhD, FACS
Dr. Sheaff moved to Jacksonville in early 2009 and was welcomed into the
community with open arms.
His surgical training was at University of Illinois Hospital and Cook
County Hospital in Chicago, Illinois.
For the next two years he taught full time at Cook County Hospital.
From 1983 till 2006, he practiced general surgery in the northwest
suburbs of Chicago, while maintaining a part time commitment to teaching at Cook County Hospital.
Dr. Sheaff is proud of being included in the Connolly Guide to
Chicago's Best Doctors. His surgical career in Illinois included many leadership
roles including Section Chief of General Surgery at Northwest Community
Hospital, Department Chairman at both Holy Family Hospital and Northwest
Community Hospital, Treasurer, Vice President and President of the
Medical Staff at Northwest Community Hospital. His special interests
include endocrine surgery, advanced laparoscopic surgery, and
varicose vein surgery.
